Manufacturing Facilities to be open in Thailand By Caterpillar Inc
The Caterpillar Incorporation is planning to open new manufacturing facilities in the Thailand. It is expected that the new factory soon is going to be established in early this year, but as the production has been scheduled for the late 2012. The facilities that are going to produce the full range in the loaders and articulated trucks that are going to be used all over the world by the Customers of Caterpillars. The companies such as underground miming applications are going to take full advantage of such facilities.
The factory will be built around 60, 000 sq.m and is going to be located in the “Hemaraj Rayong Industrial Land based in Rayong Province”. Because of the new facility, the current production in the mining equipments is going to increase the production activities by Caterpillar in Brazil and Australia in order to grow the respond in the market. Once they introduced all these facilities in Thailand with full capacity and is expected to employee the people around 800.
The company has made a strategic investment in order to support the customers who are in to the mining Business, as said by the President of Caterpillar Incorporation, Chris Curfman. The company is pleased to announce the facility for the first time in Thailand that will increase the existing rand of under ground machinery equipments and hence sharpen the focus on the demanding growth of the customers.
In order to help the driven long term nature of the commodities, the company is going to flow towards the long term urbanization trend. The infrastructure is in the process and hence the plans are soon to be executes for the World’s Growth, as said by Chris Curfman. They are very assured that the facilities in the Thailand are soon going to be positioned and hence will take over the leadership in the Construction and Mining Industries.
