Euclid Equipment: Euclid R22 & Euclid R35
Euclid Equipment is a heavy equipment manufacturer that specializes in heavy equipments for earthmoving such as wheel tractor scrapers and dump trucks. It operates in the United States of America and has been serving the industry from the year 1920. Today, Euclid is a part of Volvo. The company specializes in off-road haulers which are designed for off-road earth hauling. Euclid Crane and Hoist Company was owned by George A. Armington in the year 1924 and after sometime they launched a model called Automatic Rotary Scraper. These earthmoving equipments are designed by George’s son Arthur who moved this company into the world of earthmoving field.
Euclid Equipment started producing thousands of off-road scrapers and haulers and in the year 1953, General Motors purchased Euclid. This idea came into the mind of GM because they wanted to enter into earthmoving field as well. This deal was announced in the year 1953. The Euclid is still known to be the leading producer of earthmoving equipments and off-road haul trucks like bottom dumpers. Euclid is the first manufacturer that uses automatic transmissions in heavy duty off-road dump trucks. There are a lot of equipments manufactured by Euclid such as high speed tractor belly dumper. This tractor is a combination of off-road tractor with fifth wheel, belly dump trailer and 100-ton capacity. It also manufactures wheeled tractor scrapers which were invented by a company called LeTourneaus. It is the major manufacturer that specializes in rubber tire loader and heavy equipments.

Euclid R35 is an off-road dump truck that comes with equipments like Detroit Diesel Engine, Powershift, 18.00-25 Tires, Enclosed cab, Heater components, A/C components and a Tailgate.
